Aphrodite, Apollo and Aries watch from the heavens as the three teens are coming into their own. They are the life embodiment of the three gods. Up to now none of the females born were able to survive but it is hoped that this particular girl will be able to make it. Kallos is that girl. She thinks she is just an ordinary high school girl with parents that are a bit over protective. Then when she starts the new school she meets them the two most gorgeous guys and they both begin to show her a lot of attention. It is making her happy to be at the new school even though her Dad is the principal.
When Kallos learns the secret of who she is she learns that she is about to change into something much more than a regular teen. Sean and Ian are the only two that can help her because they have already survived the change. The thing is that if she survives she has to know which to choose and that is not going to be easy but Aphrodite, herself told her she didn't have to choose. There are so many changes when you become a teen and Kallos has to face an even bigger challenge she has to become like Aphrodite and she is not sure if she is up to the challenge. She also knows that she doesn't plan on dying and she doesn't want to lose Sean or Ian. So much happens that you will have to read it to get the entire story and believe me it is one you will really want to read.

But I don't like the cliff hang in ending lol. New twist for a story about the Gods. I am a little flustered have to go buy the rest of the series cause of where it ended. That is it it has not ended .
I really enjoyed this story, I flip flopped so many times between Sean and Ian it was unbelievable, this is the ultimate love triangle. Can't wait for more, I want to know who she picks but I am hoping it's Sean;)
The story is interesting and has great potential. Sadly this book needs more editing. It was hard to read at times. Many errors and typos. Also the words did not flow well together.
I loved reading about Kallos, Ian, & Sean. It brought a new twist to the Greek gods Aphrodite, Ares, & Apollo. I loved the new twist in how the Greek gods and the kids come together. I recommend this book to everyone.
I love this book, from the moment I started reading I was intrigued. It honestly caught my attention with Aphrodite, Apollo and Aries right in the forefront. It is a story of time, love and adversity, all put together in a beautiful setting of a small town. A eternal love story that spans all time, Khelsey Jackson has written a tale that grabs and keeps you breathless with anticipation. I cannot wait to have more of Kallos, Sean and Ian.
The multiple reincarnation of a teen goddess plot sounded intriguing and I thought would serve as a nice detour from the other books I had recently downloaded.
Sadly however, I was disappointed in the editing of this book. What started out promising soon turned into re-reading and backtracking in an attempt to make sense of what was happening and when it was happening.
I am well aware that many readers can, and do, overlook multiple editing and storyline errors, but for those who cannot, please consider this a head's up.
Please don't misunderstand me...it IS a good book with an interesting plot and the author has great potential. BUT...the errors were abundant and detracted from the overall appeal of the plot, in my opinion.
I had high hopes for this book. I love mythology and the story of Aphrodite, Ares and Apollo being recreated and the love triangle it would bring had me excited to read it. Overall, it was just ok for me. I thought the writing was repetitive and the main character, Kallos, was very annoying. She meets and falls for Ian and Sean Hunter. While both end up being her soul mates, that fact that she accepts loving both of them so quickly and just trading off between the two came across in a bad way. All the crap she puts up with from Ian and feeling sorry for him was just too much. I'm curious enough to read the next book but I would have to read it while I was reading something else so I could take a break when the writing gets to be to much for me to handle.
